Renaissance Madrigal Feaste

A December holiday favorite is our Renaissance Madrigal Feaste and Program, where we celebrate the season as in the ancient traditions of Merrie Olde England!  Costume-clad choral students serve guests a fabulous renaissance-style dinner while guests are being treated to an amazing evening of traditional 16th-century entertainment, led by our renowned Madrigals.  If you have not yet attended one of our Feastes, please visit our Photo Gallery to see pictures from the 2007 and 2006 Madrigal Feastes, or better yet, click the video link at the bottom of this page!  While the pictures only scratch the surface of the evening's fun, they will give you some idea of what the evening is all about!

"The best one yet!"  "I wish everyone at Langley could see this show!"  "These kids are amazing – this is a high school group?"  "Wow!"  "How did you get so many parents involved?"  Just a few comments heard at the 2007 Madrigal Feaste.  Bravo to the amazing performers, wonderful parents and of course, Dr. Lambert!  From the first poinsettia set up to the last tile mopped – job WELL DONE!!!!  Thank you to all who helped in any way – the show would not be what it is without everyone’s participation.    We are grateful for each of you, Cyndi and Cathy, Feaste Chairpersons

2006 Madrigal Feaste Featured On Red Apple 21    
 
The 2006 LHS Madrigal Feaste was filmed by Red Apple Channel 21 and the resulting segment was featured in SchoolScene #9, which aired on Channel 21 from December 25 - January 14.  It was also selected to air as part of Channel 21's "Best of SchoolScene" Episode #2 from July 23rd - August 12th!
