This Week in Choir:  January 5th-11th


CHOIR NEWS

SATURDAY, JANUARY 10th:

6:00-8:00 PM - Concert Choir will perform at Cornerstone International Church, 12113 Vale Road, Oakton, VA. (Should anyone need it, the phone number of the church is 703-264-1273.) Call time is 6:00 PM; performance time is 7:00 PM. The concert is open to the public and should last approximately one hour. Students should eat dinner before they arrive.

SUNDAY, JANUARY 11th: 

7:00 PM - Madrigals perform a Twelfth Night Concert at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 8009 Fort Hunt Road, Alexandria, VA, as part of the St. Luke's Friends of Music concert season.  The concert series is dedicated to raising money to help with the musical education of talented young students who cannot afford musical training. CHORAL GUILD NEWS

CHORAL GUILD MEETING:  Next meeting, Tuesday, January 13th, 7 PM in the Choir Room.  Agenda TBA.

WINTER CONCERT:  Thank you to all our wonderful choral parents who so generously donated their time and efforts at such a busy time of year to help behind the scenes at our Winter Concert:  Kim Bailey (treasurer), Susan Bumsted (programs), Ted Bumsted (photography), Bill Check (videography), Sheryl Check and Patti Burquest-Fultz (coffee sales), SooJung Kim (ushers), Regina McPhie (decorations), Mark Overend (photography), Patricia Pick (hospitality), Josh and Kim Young (sound board/audio recording), and all who stocked our hospitality table with a wonderful array of refreshments. Thanks also to our student ushers:  Brandon Tran, Pallavi Rudraraju, Eunyoung Kim, Suzanne Mueller, and Sarah Kinninburgh.  Everyone's contributions helped to make the concert yet another successful choral event!
